Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actor, dancer and actress born on 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Due to her impressive performance that she got the chance to perform one of the main role. However, she was not selected for the part. So, in the same episode, Cassie Turner was selected to play a teen troubled girl who lived in a foster home. Both critics and fans loved her performance.
