Zoe-perry
Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Perry made her debut in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC show Roseanne. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry, who was too shy for acting in school, began performing in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry was a graduate of Boston University, relocated to New York in search of TV roles. She landed small parts on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness brought her back to California to find theater work. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 In 2015, she starred together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Perry was also featured in the role of a political thriller Scandal along with her father. She played an older Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off episode of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another younger portrayal of her mother. The part was offered an audition to the actress, even though she has a family tie with the role.
