Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, actor and songwriter. Her accolades include the Grammy Award as well as the Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win an Academy Award. She first appeared in the movie Halloween as Allyson, after appearing in several television shows including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black), 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) as well as Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black.
